Aviation Consultant and Expert Witness.
Provide Expert Witness services to lawyers in connection with aviation accidents, including research and analysis in accident reconstruction.


1988 - date

British Airways plc, UK

Captain - B-787 and B-777

Currently a B-777 Type Rating Instructor and Examiner and a B-787 and B-777 Captain, operating worldwide long haul flights safely and efficiently.

Training Captain - B-747 fleet

Instructed and examined current and converting pilots onto the B-747 aircraft, including conducting final simulator tests. Instructed and tested trainees on their first passenger carrying flights and authorised to release to line flying duties.

Pilot in Command and Senior Manager on board, responsible for up to 18 crew members.

Crew Resource Management Instructor, lectured in flight safety to BA and other operators.

Pilot Assessor, conducted interviews and exercises for prospective employees in conjunction with the HR department.

Following training, officer pilot based from naval Air Stations Culdrose and Yeovilton flying Aerospatiale Gazelle Sa341 and Sea King mk4 helicopters.
Undertook ceremonial and ‘Officer of the Day’ (Duty Manager) responsibilities to ensure smooth and routine running of the air station.
